Founded in 1978 G.S.D. Lambert & Sons has been a steadily expanding company gaining each new contract on the quality of the previous.

Founder and Managing Director Gary Lambert established the Lowestoft based firm for which he gained a reputation as being hardworking, conscientious of his work & providing a quality service to his valuable customers.

Upon the birth of his second son in 1980 the company became known as G.S.D. Lambert & Sons, with it then becoming a Limited company in 1989.

Up until 1995 with the company steadily expanding, the location of Lowestoft was becoming less attractive as a majority of contracts were scattered around East Anglia, it was then that Morley Hall, Wymondham was placed on the market for sale. Noticing its potential Gary decided that a move was on the cards & successfully secured the property by a closed tender.

His first interest was to convert one of the existing wings into the companies new offices, this he achieved & soon had them ready for use, a long way from the original condition.

The new location then paid dividends not only were we central to East Anglia, but the image portrayed to our clients & suppliers reflected the way we like to conduct our business.

Since the age of 17 Gary has pushed hard both physically & mentally, upon the Company's 25th Anniversary back in 2003 he decided to take a deserved back step from the day to day running of the company.

The Company remains a very strong family run business, taking great care in its appearance, maintaining our hardworking reputation and most importantly reinvesting money back into the plant, equipment and labour, to uphold the above.
